OUR STORY

You will be welcomed by the familiar faces of our Roast Master, Madelene Holtzhausen, and her friendly baristas and front-of-house team.

For all your coffee takeaway or sit downs needs, we share the premises with the wonderful Windpomp Bistro, which provide a variety of cakes which pair extremely well with our coffee.

Our in-house roastery will provide you the best selection of beans sourced from around the world, blended to your bespoke preference, ground to your individual needs.

It’s no secret to any of our fans and regulars that all our coffee options taste

so much better at source, thanks to our sub-alpine springs of the Steenkampsberge.

Our coffee is also available by cup at the following renowned establishments

in Dulllstroom: Mayfly Restaurant, Katinka’s, Dullstroom Inn, Coachman,

Whisky bar, Ponieskrantz pottery studio

MEET MADELENE OUR ROAST MASTER

Madelene joined the coffee industry 5 years ago when she started roasting for Beans About Coffee in Dullstroom, since then she has gone on to develop her own profiles and roasts and blends which are now all available at Dullstroom Coffee Roastery. She is passionate about coffee and teaching South Africans the true art of a good cup of coffee, proper grinding, and brewing techniques. Her corporate and teaching background have helped drive her passion for training baristas and helping the restaurant industry.
